I see Mike has posted the rolling scores for Round 2043, but I can't
find the results either on the Google group or Tapcis websites. I
only get the daily summary by email. Judging from the rolling scores,
I'm the new dealer. I'll post a new word in 30 minutes or so, but if
anyone thinks I'm wrong, please let me know ASAP!

I got home late this afternoon to find both, but the rolling
scores had arrived an hour and twenty minutes before the report
of the results of the round!

Weird.

Not really weird.

Mike got a computer-generated scorekeeper's summary of the results early on.
But I spent quite a while afterwards, polishing the public announcement,
because I had sources to cite and apologies to make. And, because I was 12
hours late already, I took my time over that.

So, just like you, I saw Mike's rolling scores in my inbox while I was still
futzing with the results announcement.

Regards

Oh. Well, that does explain it.

And when I was poking around (after voting, of course) trying to
find "sofett" online and failing to do so and finally finding it
in my 1864 Merriam-Webster--it hadn't even occurred to me to
check Wordnik. I did recently bookmark it, but I guess I'm just
not in the habit of including it in my searches. And obviously,
Google doesn't yet cover that site (I did Google the word).
