View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2043: SOFETT [Definition List]
Paul Keating
September 28th, 2009, 03:32 PM
Our inventive players have concocted all but one of the 19
definitions for SOFETT presented below for your edification
and entertainment. The remaining definition is, believe it
or not, real.
Please vote for the two you think the best, for some value
(or values) of "good" that seems appropriate to you (such as
plausible, politically correct, embarrassing, witty,
implausible, long, or as chosen by a random number
generator). You can do this whether or not you have not
submitted a definition, and whether or not you have played
before. You're not allowed to vote if you know the right
answer.

Hm. One verb, one adjective, and 17 nouns. And no clues.
I think I'll take a chance on the verb and one of the nouns:
12. to mend; to make amends
14. a keepsake; a token of affection

I'll take 2 and 4, as they sound even more unlikely than all the others.

I'll take the springe at 3 because it's as plausible as any, and 10
because it's not but it raised a smile and almost a guffaw.
