RE: [Dixonary] CWM 1631 Results!!

Out of curiosity -- according to http://www.acronymfinder.com there are no fewer than 21 results for "CWM." I've often worried that a word I might choose as dealer (ancient history at this point -- LOL!) could have definitions besides the one I might be using. Is that a problem?

It certainly has occurred in the past that two or more definitions
posted were found in dictionaries!! Once I think three of the defs
wer correct :(

I mentioned "acronyms" only to avoid the possiblity that every single
definition would be Welsh <g>.

You're "clever" deceit makes my acronym, #4, meant to describe the D in P, even more accurate.

Only the def submitted by the dealer is the "correct" one for scoring ... though I was astounded when, after voting and looking up the word, the dealer's def was not the one from the AHD at all :(

Yes, it is.

That is why I generally cross-check against a range of dictionaries to
make sure that I don't do this accidentally. It's a bit of a dilemma
when you put up sense A and a player confidently and correctly DQs on
sense B, which is the only sense given in some other dictionary. It gets
even worse when another player concocts a phoney def close to sense B.
