I like the idea of touring around in a vintage car wearing an Italian
neckscarf, so 1 & 2 for me.

Well, we've all seen #10 before, so that leaves 16 possibilities.
From which, I'll take a stab at #6 and #17.

Well, it has to be:
#17. the original name for the Z Boson, an elementary particle in the Gauge
boson group, theorized in 1968 and discovered in 1983.
but just in case it isn't ... maybe it's the other fundamental:
# 3. a brief moment; an instant.

First I think I'll take 5 because there ought to be an alternate name
for the siskin since I don't know what that is either.
And then I'll take um, well, oh gosh, maybe 11 in honour of the
traditional Andalusian spinster.
Yep, that's it, definitely 5 and 11.

A good set of choices. I'll try
13. a large, oval-shaped, vividly colored marine fish with edible red flesh.
and
15. euphemism for skunk fur; soft hair of the zorilla [S.Am skunk)] used
for fine paint-brushes.
Thanks,
Chuck
