This what I get when I go on holiday! The word for this round is

************
* *
* LUKIKO *
* *
************

As usual, no indication of capitalisation or otherwise is implied.

New players are welcome. Don't look in a dictionary. If you know the
word, let me know soon, by email (if too many people know it, we'll
pick another word).

Think up a creative, intriguing, funny or genuine looking definition
that will entice your fellow players to vote for it. Send it BY EMAIL
(not as a public forum message) to me at 5sfwiyj02 (AT) sneakemail (DOT) com,
before the deadline:

10:00 BST Sunday 19th July
09:00 UTC
5:00 AM EDT
2:00 AM PDT

Full rules, if you're curious, are in the files section at
http://tinyurl.com/4m6ger .

Unfortunately that link does not work anymore. The reason is that Google
Groups introduced a bug into their page editor that encodes filenames twice.
First a space is translated to %20 which is correct, but then the % in %20
is translated again, so you get %2520. The result is that even inside Google
Groups, clicking on the link to a file with a space in the name will fail.
The only workaround is to rename any newly uploaded file to have no spaces
or special characters in the name.

The fact that is a bug is confirmed by the fact that links to files that
were set up before the bug was introduced don't have this problem.

Because the workaround exists, the Google Groups helpdesk refuses to see
that this is a bug. I guess they are Unix bigots who think you shouldn't
need spaces in filenames.

So I've had to rename the uploaded file. Use http://tinyurl.com/ktw5pq
instead.

Many thanks for spotting that - I've amended my standard text.
