I think she just meant that it was wrong of Dave to
even mention that it might be an acronym, as that
would mean it was pronounceable.

However, it most definitely IS pronounceable in
English, because English has incorporated Welsh
pronunciation (along with a dozen other languages'
pronunciations) as part of it.

Interesting thought... is it possible to consider a
word "English" if it uses a character not in the
English language? "Cabana" (with a tilde that I don't
have immediately available) comes to mind... and I've
often seen "precis" written with a cedille and an
accent.
