View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2000 FAVILLOUS Results (Round Closed Early)

I've had to stop the round early because the true def was revealed
inadvertently. As I said in another post, I think the fairest thing
to do, on the basis that the dealer's word is law and on the
assumption that those who actually voted didn't see Johnny's message
first, is to stop the round now and score it using the votes cast so
far. Since 50% of the players had already voted we do at least have a
clear result. However, it's one that presents me with another
quandary, as you will see.

The real def, as everyone now knows, was number 8, "consisting of or
resembling ashes" - no one voted for it, but I don't think I can
fairly claim a D0 on such a curtailed round.

The leader, with 4 votes for the favorable west wind was Johnny Barrs,
with Scott Crom in second place with 3 votes for "bean-shaped". I
would be sorry to see Johnny leave the game - he's said he will resign
- so I think we should all laugh about his error and invite him to
take the next deal. He can regard it as a penance if he wishes!

A special mention must go to Mike Shefler, who submitted number 17,
which he compiled - as Paul rightly guessed - with the help of a
program called Babble.

So the next deal goes to Johnny Barrs with 4 natural points.
