I will volunteer to get a card for Bill's family.
In my opinion, it is impractical to try to pass it around for
handwritten signatures, so my suggestion is this: if you want to "sign"
the card, send me a personal Email (not a reply here to this message).
In the Email, include a short message, if you like, and let me know how
you'd like it signed (i.e. Jim Smith, James, Jimmy, James Q. Smith III,
or whatever). My Email address is guerri (AT) tapcis (DOT) com. We should probably
have a deadline for sending your "signatures": how about 7 a.m. EDT on
April 17th?
I will compile all the messages and "signatures" in a document, print
it, and enclose it with the card. I can Email the resulting document to
all signees, if you like, before mailing (probably a good idea).
In the meantime, maybe someone can figure out where to mail the card.
The address I mentioned in an earlier message may be our best choice. Or
perhaps someone can call Bill's number again and ask for an address.
