Hi all,

The winner of round 1992 is Jim Hart, whose definition "[sl.] A moustache." earned a natural 5.

There were 3 players in coveted second place with 4 points each: Paul Keating, Tim Lodge and Mike Shefler.

The true definition was 15: "A month equivalent to Iyar of the modern Jewish calendar." (Dictionary.com Unabridged, based on Random House). Mike managed to ruin my chances of a D0.

Johnny Barrs was DQ, of course. I'm not sure if I should consider Russ DQ, as he wrote this when he submitted his definition:
"The only thing that comes to mind is a Hebrew month, but I'm sure that's not it."
I don't know if Russ refrained from voting because he considered himself DQ after seeing the defs, or simply because he didn't have the time. So Russ, I've scored you as an N/V below, but let me know if that should have been DQ instead.

Thanks, all, for an enjoyable round. And Jim, the floor is all yours!!

Best, Hugo

I missed the vote so having the deal is quite unexpected. I'll try not
to keep you waiting too long, new word coming along shortly.
