As always, all errors are the fault of the dealer. Here are an
extraordinary batch of believable definitions for LIARD, so please
(withot looking it up) chppse two hereof before 6 a.m. EDT on
Thursday.

1. a troubadour.

2. a type of quartz.

3. A privy in Wales.

4. a half-high mainmast.

5. aggressive; domineering

6. A loud firecracker.

7. a wicker or wire basket of earth or rock.

8. a greyhaired man; greybeard.

9. A variety of hardy moss, often used between flagstones.

10. a yellowish grey rock found in Lower Jurassic measures

11. a sense of foreboding; fear.

12. to possess a smooth or soapy feeling surface.

13. a slow dance in 3/4 time, usu. accompanied by chanting.

14. an old unit of measure equal to approx. 26 fl. oz.

15. A French copper coin of one fourth the value of a sou.

16. the plumed basilisk of Latin America _Basiliscus plunifrons_.

17. [geol.] a regular stratum in a rock formation otherwise
composed of irregular strata

18. An ornamental band, used especially in silverwork, embellished
with fluting, reeding, or another continuous pattern.

OK-- I think you found a really dumb-sounding definition somewhere... (a privy? a wire basket of rock?)
