I'll take the long ones:

<< 10. the tiger leopard (_Leopardus hyrnus_) of central South
<< America,
<< distinguished by its small size and broken black stripes on
<< white,
<< rarely pale yellow; also called "night-catcher"

<< 18. A low-growing Eurasian shrub growing in dense masses
<< and having
<< smallevergreen leaves and clusters of small bell-shaped
<< pinkish-purple
<< flowers.

My apologies for the delay in getting these put together. I've had a
very stressful couple of weeks at work, and my wife has a broken foot.

We did gather an impressive collection of definitions, one of which came
from one of my dictionaries.

Vote for your two favorites by 6:00am EDT Monday, Mar 16.

This one's tough. How about?

3. a female ocelot.

and

11. a small barn for storing hay.

Thanks,

I like 1, 3, and 11 through 15.

I rolled two seven-sided dice and they came up 6 and 3.

That translates to votes for 11 and 14.

Darn! My def must have gone astray - and we even have the same mail
provider. It ended up in my sent items folder on 3/12 and I didn't get any
bounce back as far as I know.

Anyway, I'll vote for numbers 11 and 17.

I think Paul Keating's technique of voting blind before seeing the
defs has much to recommend it, and probably has greater chance of
success than my approach of staring at the list seeking enlightenment.
Certainly it would be quicker. Nevertheless after 10 minutes of
unenlightened contemplation I'm going for

9 and 12
