So far, 10 definitions have been received, from the
following players:

John Barrs, Tim Bourne, Chris Carson, Dave Cunningham, Chuck Emery,
Jim Hart, Tim Lodge, Judy Madnick, Mike Shefler and Guerri Stevens.

If your name is not in this list, please resubmit your definition.

You should all have received a separate acknowledgement, but one or
two of those messages were rejected by Gmail because of a "temporary
problem" and, because I was expecting a log not an error message, I
carelessly dismissed the popup before noting whose message it was. If
you want the ack let me know.

Tim Lodge points out that when I voted for his encyclopędic def in
round 1984, I quite mistakenly identified it as "the Barrs def". A
backhanded compliment.

The word, in case you missed the initial posting, is BYLIVE:
capitalization is not significant. You still have 22 hours to submit
your fake definitions for this word, which you should of course send
me by _email_, to coryphaeus (AT) prodigycomputing (DOT) com.

The deadline for submissions is on 6 March 2009 at

11:30 PST
12:30 MST
13:30 CST
14:30 EST
19:30 GMT/UTC
and 20:30 CET for me.
