Bill, just as a point of inquiry, isn't there a chance a few people
away would get back after it was too late to submit a def but might
still want to vote. I guess it's a longshot but I wonder if you or
others advise closing the voting prematurely? Regards, Len

Len. I'm allowed by rule 8.a.2 to close the voting after all those playing the current round have voted. It moves the game along by eliminating a sometimes lengthy wait for the deadline to expire.
