_Mujko thori hindi ati hai_ - I know a little Hindi, which I taught
myself for my recent trip to India, but I don't recognise BOSE as
being Hindi - I'll vote for the native beer and the woodworker anyway!

5 and 14 please.

Scott -

I'll run with the thirsty crowd on this one -

5. Native beer. [Hind. popularized by Rudyard Kipling as "booze"].

and

9. A kind of mead made with wild honey (also BROSE).

Thanks,

Chuck

If I played golf I think I'd like someone to walk around with me and
serve me tea and perhaps scones, and later I'd need to store my clubs
out of sight in some kind of shed. So I'm voting for 6 and 17.

Vox pop says it's 10 and 13. But I don't like 10 enough to vote for it. So I
vote for the etymologically plausible 4 and 13, which might even have been
combined: one adj., one n. and one vb.
