I was a bit concerned when less than an hour after posting word, the first
reply was a DQ (unsurprisingly by JohnnyB). But nobody else seemed to know
the word until after the definitions were posted and Russ managed to
recognize it. A tsantsa (or tzantza) is a shrunken head, used as a war
trophy by the Shuar people. You can read all about it here:
http://www.head-hunter.com/tsantsa.html

Other than the pair who knew the word, nobody else guessed it, leaving me
with an asterisked D0.

Nancy Shepherdson and Bill Hirst tied with 4 natural points each, and are
also tied in the rolling scores. Bill's longevity in the game gives him a
higher total score and the honor of the next deal. Nancy can take home a
tsantsa as her trophy for being the "real winner".

All yours, Bill.

And, as usual, I didn't guess it -- nor did I receive any votes. I *asked* you so nicely to lose my definition so I could get two dealer points, and you didn't listen. Lately that seems to be my best bet. <sigh>
