Well, the Dictionary (chubby, squat) got only 3... it was off to a roaring start,

but thankfully fell off quickly. I thought the obvious might throw you, especially

in your tryptophan-induced stupor. Now that I notice, the early ones were BEFORE

dinner.... and Hugo presumably didn't even have turkey!

Anyway, it looks like Dan Widdis is a clear next-dealer, with the "coveted

runner-up spot" going to no fewer than SIX players!!

You've got to be kidding. I was just trying to honor Fernando.

Toni, just curious: Why did you decide to NOT combine #1 (chubby, squat)
and #18 (short, fat)? Some of the other dictionaries' defs for the word (I
looked it up, both on and off line, after I voted) do use the latter
adjectives, in fact. (Several say, BTW, that it's a variant of "fubsy".)

I had the same thought about the lack of combining. (OK, so I lied in my
vote message. I really did read to the end.) It actually was one of the
reasons I voted for #1.

I'm not sure... I thought about it, but somehow "squat" seemed different from "short". Looking at it now, with all the craziness of T-day behind me, I shoulda combined.

As did I -- but I was silly enough *not* to vote for either of them. <sigh>
