I just read an article (http://www.heraldtribune.com/article/20081023/ARTICLE/810230299/0/NEWS) about a glitch with some absentee ballots in Sarasota County, Florida that resulted in 69 of them being printed wrong and sent out missing the page that contained the entries for the county Supervisor of Elections race. The incumbent, a Republican, claimed that it was just a minor mistake, and considering that she had sent out around 52,000 correct absentee ballots she could be forgiven such a small error.

She went on to say, “It just shows their naivete. I wish either one of the two could walk a mile in my shoes.”

That sure sounds to me like she just wished that either one of her opponents would win that election :)

Egads. What a nitwit. And the worst of it is, she didn't think she had to tell the elections board that ballots had actually been sent out with that error...
