This was one of those occasions when not having a convincing word, but merely
the most boring one drew forth the votes. If ever a word was deserving of a D0,
wair was. I suppose if anyone would vote for a plank, twice as many would vote
for a hedgerow. But I digress.

The word for round 1947 shall be:

+
++
+++
++++
+++++ RIGOLL
++++
+++
++
+

or rigoll, case being irrelevant. If you know the word, notify me of your DQ
status as soon as possible.

Please send your made-up, fictitious, fallacious or hilarious definitions to me
by email at hello (AT) isanybodyhome (DOT) com before the deadline, below. If you're new
to the game and are interested in playing, do NOT look up or google the word.
Instead, read the rules in the Coryphaeus Yahoogroups file area or the sticky
messages in tapcis.com's The Parlor section.

The deadline for definition submissions shall be:

Thursday, 06:00pm EDT 23-Oct-2008
Thursday, 03:00pm PDT 23-Oct-2008
Thursday, 11:00pm BST 23-Oct-2008
Friday, 08:00am AEST 24-Oct-2008
Thursday 2008-10-23 2200Z

A monstrous opera in 7 acts, later condensed by Verdi to a more reasonable
length.
