Please vote for two by reply to this message -- the deadline is Sunday evening at 8pm Eastern time (5pm Pacific and sometime after 2am Over There...

I don't know why I bother to agonize over this -- I'm so rarely correct anyhow! So I'll choose two definitions quickly:

<< 6. An Israeli circular folk dance for up to fifty people.
'cuz it sounds like fun

and

<< 20. [Heb./Yid.] the daughter of a marriage between a Kohein
<< (priestly
<< class) and a woman of non-Kohanic lineage or a divorcee. See
<< Chalal,
<< the male equivalent. Children of such a union are and their
<< descendants are no longer considered part of the Kohani

even though I've never heard of this. <G>

2 and 10, please - but a genuine Cumberland sausage would not doubt be
even better!

Best wishes,

Since I don't believe any, I'll go for the unlikely #3 and #12.

Toni

I ought to reward the author of 16 for cheek, but - avoiding all the
foods - I'll go for the bird's-egg string and the broken vow:

3 and 12 please.

I truly have no clue. Fortunately, there are exactly enough definitions to
use with a dartboard.

2 and 12, purely at random.

I'll take the thus-far unpopular (and probably wrong) 13 and 17.
