View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 1625, POUSSETTE: Scores

A bit of a problem this time. As you'll see, two players had high scores:
Toni Savage's sofa-cushion (#4) and Tim Lodge's early bicycle (#18) each
attracted five votes.

The usual dealer-discerning recourse is to see which was "natural" and
which not. No help there: Everything's natural this round; no one chose the
real def, the country-dance step (#19).

Next tie-breaker: Ranking based on total score for the last five rounds,
including this one. A bit of a drag, that, since rolling scores haven't
been posted since round 1520--but we went back over the reports for the
past five rounds, did the necessary addition and subtraction, and guess
what--would you believe exactly even?

What to do THEN? What we did was go back one MORE round, and that did it.
One of the two players then had one more point.

Tim, you lucked out.

Toni, you da dealer for Round 1626!

Dodi,

Congrats on the D0 and a great round. I don't recall a tiebreaker going
that deep before. Bad luck for Ms. Toes.

Congrats on the D0! No comment on your "average" for the last two
rounds, though. ;)
