Now how did I know the voting deadline would fall at halftime? Although I think the Dixonary
action was more interesting than the first half. I also think I can safely say my wager on the over
is dead.

Anyway, in Dixonary MDCCCLXXIX, 2 players earned top spot with 4 points: but Chuck Emery
has the natural 4 and the deal. Bill's unnatural 4 puts him in the real winner's position.

There were 2 players in runner-up position with 3 points each: Tony Abell
and Judy Madnick.

The true definition was 5: "To waste away." (OED 2nd Edition), which 2
perceptive players guessed.

So take it away, Chuck.

*1.*To re-upholster a chair or sofa with tablint.
****Vote from:****Savage
****Submitted by: Barrs, who scores natural 1.

*2.*To arm against.
****No votes
****Submitted by: Heimerson, who scores 0 + 2, total 2.

*3.*To employ a percussive keyboarding technique when playing the organ
****or carillon, resulting in sharper, more defined tone than normal.

****graphical format.

Johnny,

You're right. It shows you as DQ in the score summary but not in your
listing. I'll have to check that and see if I've found a program glitch.

I put it into Bughost after I determined that I didn't inadvertently edit the info out of the template generated posting. At least the dreaded def combination error didn't repeat itself. That leads me to believe that one was dealer induced somehow.

Chris -

My abject apologies to all, and especially to you as I didn't give
adequate warning that I might be offline. I was in Whistler skiing for
the last several days and just returned very late last night. I will
take the next deal which anyone wishes to pass along to me for similar
reasons, if that is an acceptable way to make amends.

Sorry again,

Chuck
