I'm doing this quite soon after the deadline because I'm going out, so
I hope I haven't cut out anyone's def. Here are 15 colourful defs of
the word SVARABHAKTI, only one of which came from my dictionary. Vote
for TWO definitions, as a public forum message (in reply to this one),
before the deadline of:

09:00 UTC on Wednesday 30th January, or
4:00 AM EST
1:00 AM PST
20:00 for Jim in the city where my mother was born.

New players are welcome, even if you didn't enter a definition this
round. Don't look in a dictionary. Full rules, if you're curious, are
at http://tinyurl.com/br3oc

I'll fall for 3 and 10, although 8 would sound tasty with a couple of
parasitic vowels added to the mix.

2 and 5 are believable. The rest are entertaining.

At least half a dozen look highly probable.

#3 or #11, maybe?

I vote for 3 and 13.

I can't believe that a word sounding like that could mean something about parasites inserting vowels (T-phages maybe), so it
probabably is that and I'll hedge my bets with the nuptial carriage

#9 and #13 please

I'll try 3 and 11 despite their dubiousness.

Tim -

Sorry I didn't get a def in. Busy day yesterday. A nice assortment, of
which I'll try:

3: a Hindu purification ritual.

and

11: [Buddhism] the second highest state of existence, prior to nirvana;
one who achieves this.

Although I also like the ball game. Too many years of yoga give me a
certain feeling for this.

I once went to a service at a local Hindu temple and was surprised to
find I knew about half of the chants, although not the full details of
what they meant in English.

Thanks,

Chuck

As usual, I have no clue. My guesses are:

<< 2: a short, dagger-like spear.

<< 12: a pungent herb (Boswus stanfordus) of the Kalahari,
<< sometimes used
<< to brew a medicinal tea by indigenous Bushmen.
