Oh. Since I'd supposed that you and Guerri had been talking about messages
she'd received via e-mail, I was looking--in vain--for such an ID on the
listserv messages. Thanks for explaining!

The yahoogroups message number is probably about the only brief way of
unambiguously identifying a particular email message to the group.

You can access specific numbered messages via hyperlink:
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/coryphaeus/message/1486

(Substitute the appropriate message # for 1486 in the above URL)
