Was it difficult to use Cory the first time *not* using Tapcis?

Judy,

Actually, no. I just had to set up the options correctly and it seemed to
work just fine. Currently I have the messaging options set to write to the
clipboard because I haven't been able to get the MAPI option to work
correctly on private messages. That means I have to manually create the
message and then copy the clipboard into it rather than have it generated
automatically. That's only a hassle on the definition acknowledgements,
though. I must not have Outlook Express set up correctly for the MAPI
option to work since it doesn't seem to be picking up the right "To:"
address when it creates the reply. No big deal though. I was just pleased
that the rest of the process worked so well.

Chris

I think Paul recommended setting the public messaging option to "clipboard" so the messages can be reviewed. You have all going to the clipboard? (I haven't tested MAPI yet. <G>)

Judy,

Yes, I have all public messages going to the clipboard. For private
messages I tried having them going to the MAPI email client but so far when
Cory generates the messages, the "To:" address comes out:

SMTP:?@?

and I'm not sure what that means or what causes it. Next deal I may just
omit the acknowledgements until I can get the settings straightened out.

Chris

Sometimes I think it's easier to just send a quick "Thanks" and forget using Cory for that. <G>

I haven't dealt in so long I can't remember what it's like. <G> After many rounds during which I did poorly, I've finally been getting points without having to deal. I kinda' like that. <G>

I don't know whether you read the message I sent to Paul when he released the newest version of Cory, but I can now see everything I'm supposed to. Whew!
