I thought it funny that "foiur days" becomes 72 hours <g>.

Good Grief! Wasn't I just doing this? Yes, as a matter of fact, the round
before this one. A classic case of a def gleaned quickly with little
thought hitting the jackpot. I'll post a new word tomorrow when I have a
chance to dig through my dwindling list. I'm going to need to spend another
Saturday at the library with the OED if this keeps up.

Re your comment that 4 days becomes 72 hours: I understood that the quartan fever recurred somewhere in the 4th day, often just
after 72 hours

At least one wrong:
You've got me as "NV." I certainly DID vote! I voted for #2 and #15--so
that's a point for Tim Bourne and also one for Scott Crom.
