The winner of round 1623 (and next dealer) is Dave Cunningham, whose
definition "[Irish] A girl with red hair." earned a 6.

There were 5 players in runner-up position with 3 points: Tony Abell, Tim
Lodge, Toni
Savage, Dodi Schultz and Wayne Scott.

The true definition was 9: "[Irish] My darling." (The Shorter Oxford
English Dictionary, 3rd Ed. 1965), which 4 perceptive players guessed.

Although this is not my first attempt to deal on the web, where I was once
forced by a trip to Montreal, it is my first without Tapcis, and I hope I've
not made nearly as many mistakes as the last time. I still used Tapcis
since that's where my admittedly not current copy of Cory sends everything,
but I'll have to fix that before I deal again. I looked on Tapcis.com for
any votes I might not have received by eMail, and didn't find any. I
couldn't even find 10 of the messages which I HAD received. It was
certainly better in the good old days.
