Guerri, the messages from John "for" me were "to" the group, not to my
personal mailbox. Supposedly, everything sent to the group, whether
addressed to the Cory group at Yahoo or posted in whatever the forum is
called (Dixonary? Parlor?) at tapcis.com is automatically forwarded to the
other venue as well. I have no idea how that works. I get everything by
e-mail, via the Yahoo listserv option.

I don't know how it would help you for me to change headers on replies I
post. It's messages from JOHN you're not seeing, not messages from ME.

Dodi, I understand how it works and that John's messages were posted to
the group. But just as this message from me is posted to the group, it
is intended to you. This is similar to posting a message in a CompuServe
forum with your name in the To field; the message, unless specifically
designated as private, would be public.

Putting the Re: on headers of replies that you write would not help with
missing messages from John, but it would have helped tremendously when I
tried to track down this stuff in the tapcis.com site. Instead each of
your messages started a new thread. Just as you have asked that all
these messages be signed because you would otherwise not know who wrote
a message, I (and others) are asking that you use the "Re" when you
reply so that the threading can be preserved elsewhere.
