I used to be able to do that, but something changed in my email program so that that doesn't work anymore. <sigh> If I try to "reply to all," I get the group address twice. The software developer explained why that happens, but I don't remember the explanation. <G>

<< What client are you using?
I use !ntellect (yes, the exclamation point is correct <G>), by Chaos Software. It's predecessor was Express Plus.
<< Different clients may treat
<< the internet headers

Exactly.
<< The actual headers on the posting message
<< included:
<< > From: Paul Keating
<< <coryphaeus (AT) yahoogroups (DOT) com>
<< > Reply-To: Dixonary (AT) googlegroups (DOT) com
<< > Sender: Dixonary (AT) googlegroups (DOT) com
When I choose "reply," I get, for example:
----- Original message ----------------------------------------
From: "Daniel B. Widdis" <widdis (AT) gmail (DOT) com>
To: Dixonary (AT) googlegroups (DOT) com

That's when I see the sender's email address (i.e., when I reply and have my response quote the original message).
If I click on "header" in the original message (an available tab in my program), I see the following:
From: "Daniel B. Widdis" <widdis@ . . . com> (but with your full address)
Reply-To: Dixonary (AT) googlegroups (DOT) com
so to make my life easier, I could simply click on "header" and then click on your email address to reply directly to you -- another way for me to handle this!
