Some very sensible, even inspirational, historical feminism for our time, and all time:

(I hope, I hope that this article is free content. The ten percent of Americans who can still ratiocinate need encouragement.)

I am confused by all the pair o'dimes.

For example, I got the impression that the Jesuit St. Isaac Jogues and companions were martyred by the Iroquois because they were too wimpy and perhaps not jihadist enough to put it in modern words. They might have fallen for Jesus if he had been a brutal conquering emperor?

As far as the neocons go, I thought their religion was "the business of America is Business", etc.

So many angles. a hall of mirrors ?
