I saw this story in slashdot and thought of Judy...

The Washington Post reports on a BBC translation of an Iranian newspaper editorial headlined "Spying Squirrels" (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/19/AR2007071902453_3.html) (scroll down to the heading Each Wore a Tiny Trench Coat)

I would have thought that the story had no credibility if it had not been done before (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_Squirrel).

Next, I bet we'll be seeing reports from Dick Cheney about sightings of laser guided camels with spy equipment hidden in their humps inconspicuously hanging around the White House trying to blend in with the fauna.

Actually, I think there really has been something like this done before -- seems to me I remember hearing it come up on "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me!" That show is for fun, but they deal in factual stuff.

At any rate, after it came out that the CIA had using LSD-laced cigars and depilatory powders in his shoes to try to depose Castro by public embarassment, I decided there was absolutely nothing that was beyond belief.

Oh, hey, I think this (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2001/11/04/wcia04.xml) was what I remember hearing about. As I said, nothing is beyond belief.
