View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 1826 - New Word: HOEMOTHER

I did NOT see this coming. I wasn't keeping track of the votes and only noted
that I had received only two votes. Little did I expect that not only did I
guess the real definition, but that no one else who also did so managed to
garner more than a single natural point.
So I am mighty annoyed. So annoyed that the next word shall be
+
++
+++
++++
+++++ HOEMOTHER
++++
+++
++
+
or hoemother, case being irrelevant. If you know the word, notify me of your DQ
status as soon as possible. If too many people know it, I will have to choose
another word and will be even more annoyed.
Please send your made-up, fictitious, fallacious or hilarious definitions to me
by email at hello * isanybodyhome.com before the deadline, below. If you're new
to the game and are interested in playing, do NOT look up or google the word in
any way! Instead, read the rules in the sticky messages in tapcis.com's The
Parlor section.
The deadline for definition submissions shall be:
EDT: 1:00pm Saturday 21-Jul-2007
MST: 10:00am Saturday 21-Jul-2007
PDT: 10:00am Saturday 21-Jul-2007
BST: 6:00pm Saturday 21-Jul-2007
UTC: 2007-07-21 1700 Saturday

Sorry, Tony. A very weird round all around. Actually, I'm grateful
to you...until I got to your entry, I thought I was going to have to
break a three way tie!
And so you take your revenge with a word like this...
My def:
a blood-letting cup or jar.

Who has the crowns these days?
If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die I want to go where they
went.

I always enjoy the game. The fact that I don't play it is purely a reflection of my time commitments, not my appreciation of it!
