Just DON'T have a successful yard sale! I had a great
one last Saturday, and now I'm paranoid about putting
ANYTHING in the trash!

Same for eBay since I sold that $40 bumper sticker! I
have a booklet on the table that says, "Gone Frotzing"
on the front, that I have great hopes for.

Gosh, that's great news. The last time we had a garage sale we found that people were unwilling to pay much for *anything*! It was very frustrating.

I haven't tried eBay yet, but we sold a lot of "stuff" on craigslist.com. I just added a few items that we brought to Jacksonville but now realize that we really don't want or need them. I hope we can sell some of that "stuff."

Well, I didn't sell anything for over $5 at the yard
sale, but I sold a LOT of it. And success was
measured in cubic feet gotten rid of, too. I only got
about $200, but I got rid of over 20 cubic feet!!

I guess I was remembering the days when we made six or seven hundred dollars at garage sales. What I *don't* remember is what we sold in order to make that much!!

Glad to hear you got rid of over 20 cubic feet -- that must feel *great*!

Yeah... my sister's moving in Sept 30, so I have a lot
more to get rid of!!! (and she's doing the same in
Atlanta... she just unloaded a pool table to the guy
who's fixing up her house, in exchange for $1000 of
the cost of the fixup! Both of them are ecstatic!)

Sigh... I would dearly love to live with my younger sister... but she's in Virginia and I can't retire for another seven years at a minimum.

A much better bargain than a dumpster!
