The extended deadline produced 4 more defs, so it was worth doing as
we now have a respectable 17 defs for FECHIA. Vote for TWO
definitions, as a public forum message (in reply to this one), before
the deadline of:

21:00 BST on Tuesday 12th June
20:00 UTC
4:00 PM EDT
1:00 PM PDT, all on the same day.

New players are welcome, even if you didn't enter a definition this
round. Don't look in a dictionary. Full rules, if you're curious, are
at http://tinyurl.com/br3oc

Hi Tim,

> we now have a respectable 17 defs for FECHIA. Vote for TWO

Obviously, only 12 and 13 can possibly be true.

> 12: a liqueur made from the crushed and fermented overripe fruits of
> various pomes.

> 13: the mid-afternoon snack of cheese and dried meat given to Roman
> soldiers on a long march.

Best, Hugo

The only true entries are 6 and 7. I'm wearing my tinfoil beanie, so
you know my mind is clear.

I believe 1. I don't believe 9, but think it's lovely.

I'll try #8 and--hm. A number of those plants look reasonable. I'll pick
#14.

I'll go with #1 and #17 and assume the correct answer is between them somewhere.

Rats! My ISP was unavailable for the first part of the weekend,
and I didn't learn about the new word until after the deadline
for submitting a definition. That's the first time I've missed
for years!

So my only hope for earning any points is to cast my votes for 6
and 14,

Scott

I'll take a stab at 8 and, oh...I don't know. 15, I guess.

I don't see any that I particularly like, including my own. I'll toss
votes at 1 and 17.

There are way to many plants on the list so I'll go for 4 and 11.

and

11: a mixture, such as plaster or roughcast, used to coat walls and line
chimneys.

Thanks,

Chuck
