Google,AOL,AIM POP3/IMAP mail preview on Earthlink
Earthlink offers free Earthlink ID's (not free Internet access)
With free Earthlink ID you get free personalized start page / portal supporting:
1. mail preview of Google, AOL, or AIM email
2. RSS news/blog feed reader
plus the usual start page stuff.
The RSS feed reader is decent, but I still think I like Yahoo's a little better.
http://start.earthlink.net or
http://my.earthlink.net
Earthlink just recently redesigned their start page layout and features. Less cluttered now (maybe influenced by competition from Google?).
I decided not to continue using the Google POP3 mail preview tho' since I'm not sure if I want to give Earthlink access to cookies on my PC containing my Google account ID & PW.
I suppose the AOL or AIM mail preview might not be so bad since it would avoid having to fire up Thunderbird to use IMAP to open mail folders on AOL. I hate the AOL / AIM web view of mail since it's so slow on dial up compared to IMAP on Thunderbird.
