Well, it looks like the dealer almost earned a crown as well as a slap on the hand for naughty language. Since at least I didn't reveal what the true def IS, I am still going to hang in with Fanny Adams for the time being. As the players can plainly see, there is a definition in use for the phrase "Sweet Fanny Adams" which means zero, or "nothing at all". This is not the definition I got from OED 2nd. In fact, I didn't see the other meaning which perhaps was listed in the "S" volume rather than the "F".

My apologies to those who might be offended by my use of the cruder phrase which I think I've seen in either Patrick O'Brian's novels of the Napoleanic Wars or Bernard Cornwell's books.
