Apparently the Yahoo group is no longer forwarding Email to me,
probably because the tapcis.com Email was down for some period of time
earlier today. Usually I can log into the group and straighten it out,
but right now, the "edit membership" link is not appearing, at least
for me. It used to be near the top of the page, but I don't see it
there, or in fact, anywhere on the page.

It appears that I have been dropped from the group entirely. When I go
to My Account, up at the top of the screen, and click on Groups on the
right hand side of that screen, the Coryphaeus group is not listed.
Another clue is that at the top of this Post Message screen is the
statement that my message must be approved by the group owner before
being sent to the group which I don't recall seeing in the past.

Perhaps you are currently *not* logged in and need to do so again. I just "signed out" and see that on the top-left-hand side of the screen is a link to "sign in." The fact that your message was successfully sent to the Group leads me to believe that you just have to sign in again. Maybe. <G>

I am embarassed to admit that I inadvertently unsubscribed. My
tapcis.com Email was not working, so I went into the group to post the
results of the round. Knowing how Yahoo feels about Emails that don't
get delivered the way it thinks they should, I assumed I would have to
reset my options in order to keep getting the messages by Email.

My options were OK, and I wanted to exit from the member options and
from the group itself, so I clicked a button that said "leave group".
Bad mistake, because that actually means "unsubscribe from the group".
I believe it makes you confirm that choice, which I evidently did.

Oh, well. I've rejoined and should be OK once I get "approved".

Guerri,

I just went and checked the group and sure enough, you were listed as a "pending" member and your message listed as "pending". I'm not sure why your status changed but I believe I fixed it. Maybe Paul or one of the other real Yahoo group experts can explain exactly what happened.

Chris

Glad you figured out what happened. But there's no need to be embarrassed. We've all "clicked" on something in error at one time or another, I'm sure.

I rejoined. I inadvertently unsubscribed by clicking "leave group" from
the edit membership screen, thinking that meant "exit", rather than
"unsubscribe". Probably due to euphoria from finishing the round <g>.

Thanks for your efforts on my behalf and I apologize for your having to
make them!
