>> For us it begins as usual at 2:00 am on the last Sunday in March
>> (25) - why are you guys out of step this year?

Johnny, the dates for both the beginning and end of Daylight Time have
recently changed. Last year, it began on the first Sunday in April; it's
now the second Sunday in March. The end was previously the last Sunday in
October; as of this year, it's the first Sunday in November.

Guerri and Dave won't like that, but most of the folks I know here in the
northeastern part of the country think it's great and that DT ought to be
extended to the full year.

Coryphæus users, living in the US or not, please change the US daylight
saving time rule in Options | Timezones, otherwise the translations from
your own zone to others that don't change on the same day will be wrong.

<< Even when I lived in the Northeast, I resented the extension of daylight
<< savings time, particularly in the fall.

Personally, I find it more depressing to have it get dark at 4:30 p.m. than to awaken in semi-darkness. But everyone is different . . .

Hmmm . . . I guess that's why my times were always messed up when I was dealer. I never set up that rule!
