Don, I think we'd better just shut up and scroll down to the routing text
if we want to know who sent a message. It's a little more trouble, but hey,

Dodi, I have created a macro to add the "Re:" to a message that you
write. I can't easily test it, but it would be easy enough for you to
create yourself or I can send you the code and you can paste it into
your MACROS.TAP file. Let me know if you want instructions to create it
or would like the code (anyone else is welcome to this also).

As far as locating the sender of the message, in TAPCIS you can use
Find, and it will find text in the current message. So you could find
"From:" (without quotes). Unfortunately TAPCIS won't jump to that
location, but you can scroll down (or press PgDn one or more times) and
at least the From will be highlighted. What I don't know is whether that
is always present in the routing text.

That's good to hear <G>. Unfortunately I'm off the internet until I get
back to Yuma and reconnect my HS DSL line. I'm currently stuck with very
low speed cellular connection - ostensibly 14,400cps. It takes at least 20
minutes to down load e-mail headers and even longer to down load the actual
messages. :-(

Yeah! Bummer! I fail to understand what is so onerous about a couple of
CR's followed by a couple of key strokes for initials though. End of soap
box rant! <G>

Not onerous at all. We just forget. For me it's 2 mouseclicks, to select
the sending email address that has the signature, and that Yahoo knows
about. It's important that I remember, as well, because if I send from
the wrong address, not only is it unsigned, but the message ends up in
the moderation queue.

And still I forget.

It's not very onerous, and I started doing it when Dodi first started
asking us to.

I do, however, think it's onerous to keep hearing about it repeatedly. :)

my client to suppress them, since I can read the "From:" lines and
don't need signatures.

Suppress? Good you mention that! I sometimes put a PS below the sig.
Does that mean you wouldn't see it?
