Judy, thanks very much for forwarding John's announcement of the new word;
it reached me both ways. I've no idea why his original post to the group
never reached my mailbox! (Since everybody else seems to have seen it, my
mailbox must be misbehaving.) Anyway, I've got the information now...

I did not receive the announcement of the word either, but was not
paying as careful attention as you apparently, so I have no def in this
round. This is happening to me more and more often. I use the digest
form of Yahoo. Can anyone explain what's happening??

There are occasional glitches with Yahoo and probably will all Email
servers as well. As Dan says, we are living with them. What I try to do
is make a note to myself when a round ends so that I can be on the
lookout for the new word. And I also try always to check whether my vote
appears. It's a nuisance, but there's no guarantee that something else
would be better.
