Ah, could be! We've had only very preliminary conversation at this point
and, yes, there may have been the assumption that I was talking about XP
Home. Thanks, Lindsey!

There's a good exposition of the differences between Win XP Home and XP
Pro at http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_home_pro.asp.

I didn't really need all the ex-NT security and network features, but I
_did_ need a web server for development and so I specified XP Pro as it
contains the IIS web server.
