Two plums in one week for word freaks.
In addition to the article on the Merriam-Webster in this week's (6 Nov)
New Yorker, there's a dictionary story coming up tomorrow in the New York
Times Magazine (5 Nov): "Cyber-Neologoliferation," by James Gleick, on the
OED. For those not in the NY area or with other access to the paper: The
piece will probably be available at the paper's Website (www.nytimes.com)
by this (4 Nov) evening.
