It's intended to be edited to keep it short and sensible, and the an
upgrade _should_ not overwrite your version. Though I will check that
in the next release quite carefully.

I just edited the player list to be in line with Dodi's list. Is there a particular file name associated with that list?

Yes, there is. It is player.db. If you want to be sure of not overwriting
it, copy _all_ of the player.* files (not just player.db) to some safe
place, and copy them all back again afterwards. There are about 10 of them.

I found eight, and they have become a part of my backup "exercise." Are there any other Cory files worth backing up?

I'm pretty sure there was a change to other table layouts in the last 10
months though I can't immediately remember why. So let the upgrade change
the other files, this time anyway.
