Tony and Judy, "dord" isn't an real word (although it appears that way in
the 1934 edition) but the result of a notorious flub made by a
Merriam-Webster copy editor and discovered only long after the edition was
printed--in 1939. You can (or at least COULD; hope it's still there) read
