I was going to invoke the "everyone has voted rule" so that we might not have to wait until the final deadline and of course I've been waiting about 24 hours for that final holdout voter. And of course the final holdout was an 'extra' identity that I didn't catch when going through the player list. So here we are, almost at the deadline anyway. Despite that, I have to say that dealing by email isn't nearly as bad as I anticipated and actually was pretty easy despite a couple of operator induced Cory glitches. Now if Paul would just allow Cory to access a user specified folder in the mail client it would *really* be a breeze.
And now to the awards -- Our new dealer is Hugo Kornelis, whose definition "1. Any collection of worthless items; 2. The act ofcollecting worthless items." earned a natural 6 .
John Barrs takes coveted second place with 5 points.
Votes were pretty evenly distributed and so there were 8 players in runner-up position with 3 points: Dave Cunningham, Chuck Emery, Marijke van Gans, Judy Madnick, Wayne Scott, Mike Shefler, Guerri Stevens and Tony Abell.
The actual definition was number 7: "To rub with or between the hands" (OED 2nd Edition), which 3 perceptive players guessed, giving me a D3.
