When the player with whom one is tied and for whom one therefore casts a tactical vote turns out to be the dictionary, one is hoist by one's own petard, so to speak. Thus my current predicament.

The word for this round shall be:

+
++
+++
++++
+++++ fondon
++++
+++
++
+

unless too many of you already know it. If you DO know it, notify me of your DQ status as soon as possible.

Please send your made-up, fictitious, fallacious or hilarious definitions to me by email at aabell * compuserve.com before the deadline, below. If you're new to the game and are interested in playing, do NOT look up or google the word in ANY way! Instead, read the rules in the Coryphaeus Yahoogroups file area or the sticky messages in tapcis.com's The Parlor section.

The deadline for definition submissions shall be:

Atlantic City: Monday 2006-09-18 8:00am
San Jose: Monday 2006-09-18 5:00am
Newcastle: Monday 2006-09-18 1:00pm
Ankara: Monday 2006-09-18 3:00pm
Wellington: Tuesday 2006-09-19 12:00am
UTC: Monday 2006-09-18: 12:00:00

(all but the last two reflect Daylight Saving (Summer) Time)
