Actually, now that you mention it, I HAVE a google
mail account, too. I had forgotten that!
My big problem then would be getting Eudora, etc.!
Are they free?

Oops. When I first read that I blanked out the part where you said you
had a goodle account and thought the "free" question meant that. Ignore
my invite to gmail. ;)

I don't know if Eudora is a free download, but I'm very happy with
Mozilla Thunderbird, which is definitely free.

Yes, Eudora (http://www.eudora.com/) and Thunderbird (http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/) are free (Thunderbird is completely free, Eudora has an ad-supported version which is free).

Toni, you can download Thunderbird for free. I'm using it, Dan is using
it, and Judy Russell might be also. One thing about it, though, is that
there is no built-in help. If you click on help and choose Mozilla
Thunderbird help, it will take you online.

I don't know if this is still true, but at one time you could download a
free, "lite" version of Eudora. Another that I think you can download
free is Pegasus. I have not used either of these.
