The Rolling and Total scores look brilliant in Tapcis.com, and don't look too bad in the Yahoo group either.

Speak for youself...Windows (as in supergeek) takes its own decision as to what codepage to encode in..(Outlook).. If you guys send
un US ASCII then it chooses Western European ISO which is proportional and therefore crazy mixed up with no discipline !!!

If you take three steps (1.open message in a separate window, and then 2. edit-change-encoding to WesternEuropean Windows) then fine
it displays as intended, but it doesn't retain that coding back in the messages unless you choose 3.'Save changes' - and then it
only applies to the one message.

I can find no setting to generalize codepage and help gives no setting for codepages either

Anyone got any ideas? (apart from 'change away from redmond software' which is not an option at the moment - oh, do I wish!)

I said 'if you send in US ASCII then it displays Western ISO which is proportional'

I have been looking around my mail and I cannot see a pattern - some US ASCII displays Western Windows, other in ISO 9581-1 other in
other ISO ....

As far as I can see the 'problem' such as it is has to do with the Encoding... Our stuff is 7-bit encoded, most else is 8-bit
encoded or MIME

I would appreciate some light inserted here from someone who knows what they are talking about

I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to other programs (and sometimes not even when I'm discussing my own programs!!) . . . but I finally found the option to change my message font in Tools|Options|Fonts. (I use Express Plus.) The rolling scores, etc., now look quite nice.
