Speak for youself...Windows (as in supergeek) takes its own decision as to what codepage to encode in..(Outlook).. If you guys send
un US ASCII then it chooses Western European ISO which is proportional and therefore crazy mixed up with no discipline !!!
If you take three steps (1.open message in a separate window, and then 2. edit-change-encoding to WesternEuropean Windows) then fine
it displays as intended, but it doesn't retain that coding back in the messages unless you choose 3.'Save changes' - and then it
only applies to the one message.
I can find no setting to generalize codepage and help gives no setting for codepages either
Anyone got any ideas? (apart from 'change away from redmond software' which is not an option at the moment - oh, do I wish!)
