View Full Version : [Dixonary] DENDER; 1726 - Defs Up

For the record, there was unacceptable (IMO) editing on my def; I've
e-mailed the dealer privately on the details.

Also, John: Did you actually mean the 21st as the deadline for voting? Or
did you mean the 20th? The deadline you've gived would be 60 hours--a full
24 hours beyond that specified in the rules (24 to 36). And BTW, we're on
EDT here from early April to late October.

Anyway: My votes to #1 and #18.

I'm feeling rather crappy today. These two tickle my fancy.

4: Offal, especially that of a feral animal; [scat]

5: [Dutch] deposits in a chimney, usually from storks

I'll go for 3 because it's Scots.
I'll also try 8 because I am certainly a buffoon.

I think I'm responsible for urging folks to "Vote early, vote often."

Ah, so it's *your* fault!

In my case, it wouldn't have helped. Anything times zero is . . . zero. <sigh> At least I managed to guess the definition this time. A miracle!

We're refugees from the old Kelly-Nash machine.
