Here are an interesting set of definitions from an interesting set of minds - and of course a dictionary def is included too.

Vote for TWO definitions, as a public forum message (in reply to this one), before the deadline which is

Midnight in Kuwait, Moscow and Nairobi
etc

So to the defs:

1: _Obsolete_ Dishonor.

2: A lack of knowledge; ignorance.

3: [chiefly Scot] Clutter or disarray

4: Offal, especially that of a feral animal; [scat.]

5: [Dutch] deposits in a chimney, usually from storks.

6: A plow equipped with several blades that make parallel furrows.

7: Nickname for the Samoan coin with a value of 0.5 Tala or 50 sene

8: 1. One who laughs at another in contempt; a mocker; a scoffer. 2. A droll or buffoon

9: The functionary in a Turkish mosque who translates readings from the Koran into Turkish [Tk. 'interpreter']

10: A coal scuttle.

11: A pirate or pirate ship.

12: A mask-like head covering for a race horse

13: Bot. Having a toothed or notched margin,as some leaves

14: Hillside irrigation furrow which follows the contour of the slope.

15: A starched cloth covering the neck and shoulders as part of a nun's habit.

16: The unproductive corners of a field not watered by a (circular) center- pivot irrigation system.

17: A light one-horse four-wheeler Russian carriage, especially one in which passengers ride astride a saddle-like seat.

18: A brownish-red ferric oxide obtained as a residue after heating ferrous sulfate, used in glass polishing and as a pigment

19: A halfway house for reformed vegetarians.

As for former vegetarian, I got a chuckle out of #19.

I was wondering whether reformed vegetarians believe that they were
