Dodi, you got plain text because after I wrote my message to you, and
told Thunderbird to send, it did something that is very irritating. It
said something along the lines of "one or more recipients cannot view
HTML" and gave me the option for plain text, so I took it.

In this case, I think I have you set up in my Tbird address book as text
only. But often the address book entry is simply "unknown" cause I
haven't put it in and have no idea what the person wants. Now why the
Tbird software in that case can't simply go ahead and send the message
as is without bothering me, I don't know. Anyway, I have changed my
default now to "text".
